To measure your space for flooring:

1. Measure the length and width of your room in meters.

2. Multiply the length by the width to calculate the total square meters.

The type of underlay you need depends on your flooring and subfloor:

• Laminate Flooring: Use foam or felt underlay for cushioning and soundproofing.

• Engineered Wood Flooring: Can be installed as a floating floor with an underlay or glued down, depending on the subfloor and preference.

• Solid Wood Flooring: Requires glue-down installation only, so underlay is not typically used.
